Our little Abode in West Hollywood

Posted: June 29, 2010 by wretchedness in everyday living, Los Angeles

These are well overdue, but I haven’t had time to do this (which is the way its supposed to be I guess). I’m sitting here waiting for dinner to cook and laundry to be done – so I’m maximizing time! Here are some apartment pictures, the Kitchen specifically, after a round of shopping at Costco- if I lived in a place like this I’d cook everyday and go grocery shopping every other week. Costco is an entry-by-membership only place – its $50 USD per annum. This place is so popular because you can buy stuff in huge bulk – a year’s supply of sanitary pads for example….or like 20 jumbo jars of Mayonnaise (restaurant sizes). A lot of restaurants get their supply from Costco too. Regular folks come here to stock up for a month or two at least.  They don’t provide plastic bags in this place so you either have to bring your own shopping bags or scavenge scrap boxes to hold everything in. Needless to say, ferrying your purchases home will be a problem without a car.

Value for money groceries from Costco!
